| Hal Portner has been creatively problem-solving for and with organizations and individuals for the past three decades, most recently as a full-time consultant with the Connecticut State Department of Education. Hal is a director of the New England Creative/Critical Thinking Center, is Sr. Consultant of Portner Associates, an organization development group, author of five books on mentoring teachers (Corwin Press), and several presentation skills, time-management and project-management articles and workbooks. Hal lives in Northampton, Massachusetts with his wife, Mary, and three cats (He constantly learns from all four). He is an oil painter and musician. | |
