Tim is obsessed with ideas. He
teaches audiences and clients what many already know in their hearts: that
creative intelligence is the essence of human potential. And he shows them
that creative intelligence is not a gift given to few, but a set of skills
anyone can learn and cultivate. Tim makes a career of speaking about creative intelligence and the role of organizations in helping foster more creative working environments. He has written numerous articles on improving creativity in the workplace, and is a periodic contributor to Creativity in Action, the journal of the Creative Education Foundation. Although he’s blessed to be able to earn a living by doing what he loves, Tim also finds time for volunteer work. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, as Chair of the Board of Directors, Responsible Gambling Council, as Chair of the YMCA Employment and Community Services Advisory Council and member of the Governing Council of the YMCA of Metropolitan Toronto, as President-elect of the Board of Directors of Opera Ontario, and on the Board of Directors of Symphonic Workshops International. He is also a Life Member of the Creative Education Foundation. Notwithstanding all this activity, mostly Tim likes to noodle around — by himself, with his friends, and especially with his wife Franca and four kids, Emily, Branwen, Peter, and Max. |
